Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Moodstreak mobile application and any related services (collectively, the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Moodstreak is provided for personal, non-commercial use to share feelings and drawings privately with your chosen partner, use widgets, explore conversation questions and keep a personal mood journal. You agree not to misuse the App or use it in any way that is unlawful or harmful.

2. No medical or crisis advice

Moodstreak is not a medical device and does not provide professional mental health, medical or crisis services. Its feelings tools and conversation questions are for personal reflection and communication, not medical or therapeutic advice. Seek a qualified professional for health questions. Contact local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.

3. Private accounts and partner codes

No email or password is required. The App creates a private anonymous session and keeps its credentials on your device. Keep your device and partner code secure; share a code only with the person you want to connect. Anyone who can use your unlocked device may access its content. Apple purchase restoration does not recover a lost anonymous partner room or its history on a different phone.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Moodstreak Pro offers one active plan for two connected partners. Apple processes the purchase; RevenueCat verifies access. The App shows the selected price, billing period, renewal terms and any eligible introductory offer before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store subscription settings before renewal. For a free or discounted trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want to renew. Apple explains how to cancel. Restore purchases is available in the App. Disconnecting, blocking, deleting the App or deleting a Moodstreak account does not cancel Apple billing. Shared access ends when the connection or its qualifying active plan ends. We do not receive your payment card details.

5. User content

You own the content you create. You grant us a limited license to process and store it as necessary to operate and improve the App, consistent with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you share and for respecting applicable laws and other people’s rights. Do not send threats, harassment, hateful or sexually exploitative content, or content that infringes another person’s rights.

6. Sharing, widgets and safety

Shared content goes to the partner you connect. Live drawing needs both apps open and internet. Spoken conversation cards are separate from written daily answers, which become visible after both partners answer. Open Moodstreak to receive updates; iOS controls widget refresh timing. Content shown on your Home or Lock Screen can be seen by others nearby. You may screen, hide or report received content and disconnect or block a partner. Text checks are limited and do not classify artwork. Contact support about unwanted content. The updated couples interface does not expose the older AI coach; data from earlier versions is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, logo, and underlying code, is owned or licensed by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except as allowed by law.

The app license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms do not replace that license or limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Ending use and deleting an account

We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using the App and initiate account deletion in Privacy & account, also accessible from the paywall’s Privacy button. Deletion ends sharing and removes your account and own content as described in the Privacy Policy; your partner keeps their own content and external copies may remain. It does not cancel an App Store subscription.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify you in the App. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.
